
For the sake of completion, I wanted to be as thorough as possible here. As such, there is no question about their legitimacy.

Unlike with Chrome 49 for Windows XP (where I had to hunt for installers on questionable websites and verify that they hadn't been tampered with), these were downloaded by me directly from Google's servers. Only this time, I was able to plan for it. So I needed to make sure that I had installers for Google Chrome 109 for such an occasion. And much like with Windows XP, I know I'm going to need to install Chrome on one of these systems at some point. At work, I still come across a fair amount of Windows 7 machines.

As you may know, Google has recently severed support for Google Chrome on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
